The Inventions and Creations of Alexander Graham Bell

VIBRAPHONE

The success with Thomas Watson leads Alexander Graham Bell makes a first prototype of Vibraphone in 1875. The appliances is activated by using mobile a metal strip that a closer to those of the clarinet. Later in March in the following year, Bell decided to improve the quality of the vibraphones by renewal the strip and put a wire plunged in a container filled of water and acid. The water and acid makes a module that intense of the current in the wire in a way corresponding to the sound waves of the atmosphere.







PHOTOPHONE


Another creations and inventions of Alexander Graham Bell is Photophone. With the helped of Charles Sumner Tainter, Bell has invented the photophone and he grabbed the opportunity to introduce it to Meudon Observatory. The advances of the photophone are it can produce and reproduce the sound by using the equity of selenium and different with the transmission of pictures. Bell produced the photophone by set up the Volta Laboratory by using the Volta Prize of 50, 000 francs by the French Government for the invention of the electric speaking telephone in 1880.
